, Black Fortress of Solitude is everything an atmospheric black metal record should be: harsh, bleak and punishing, while being able to create a whole scenery in which the listener can drift off. The album is influenced by the classic black metal sound from the 90’s, but it’s still something unique. I highly recommend giving it a listen if you’re looking for a solid atmo-black record to mark the beginning of winter.

What a fantastic 4-way split, extolling all the virtues of mother nature. Unfortunately, I am late as always to these things but... Worthy of special mention is De La Nostalgie, there are so very many emotions in both their songs that it is simply breathtaking & has pushed me to look into their discography...
